New Address on Substack!

I’ve got a new social media home on Substack. But no need to send a housewarming gift, just come and visit! It’s free, and you’re always welcome.

I was getting more and more frustrated with Facebook as a way to tell any sort of coherent story, or to reliably reach out to friends and others. With more and more ads to slog through, I never knew if the people who wanted to see my posts were ever seeing them at all! So I started looking into other alternatives, and I really liked what I saw and read about Substack. I had started to read quite a few articles there, and even support some authors, especially as the legacy media started to be so disappointing, so eventually I decided to go for it. It seems to be a better fit, and I really like the way readers can subscribe for free (some authors charge for different levels of access, but I don’t) and get posts delivered directly to their inbox. It’s nice to know that what I write will at least be received! That’s a good start. You can read posts in your email or on the Substack site or on the Substack app, whichever is most convenient.

After a few beginning posts about my very short stint as a Messiah singalong soloist, I launched on a series of posts I’ve been wanting to write for awhile. Sort of a retrospective of the major changes I’ve experienced in my music career — from age 6 until age… Well, until now! It’s called “Dreams to Streams” and I hope you find it interesting…

So if you’d like to stay up on the latest with my music, or just hear occasional musings from someone who’s been doing it from the cheap seats for a pretty long time, please subscribe!
